Conference on transfer of learning achievements

You are invited to “Transferring learning achievements in Poland and Europe”, a conference to be held on 25 June 2013, at which experts from the Educational Research Institute will present topics including determinants for introduction of the ECVET system in Poland. The speaker will be Peter Wilson, a specialist from NIACE (the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education) in the UK.

Topics to be covered at the conference include:
  • progress on implementing the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) in Poland in comparison with other countries;
  • the means of defining learning outcomes in the ECTS system in higher education;
  • the approach presented in the ECVET system (European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training).

The conference will also host the presentation of “Outcomes Count!” awards, an Educational Research Institute initiative. The awards are presented for training programmes defined through learning outcomes. After the award ceremony, winners will outline their projects.

The conference will take place on 25 June 2013 at the Marriott Hotel, Al. Jerozolimskie 65/79 in Warsaw, Poland.
