Partnership in the qualifications system - invitation
What should be the role of stakeholders in the modernised qualifications system in Poland? What are the experiences of other European countries in working with stakeholders in this capacity? What is the role and involvement of stakeholders in the vocational qualifications system in France? You are cordially invited to discuss these and other related issues at a conference in Warsaw on February 16, 2015. From 2011 to 2013, the Educational Research Institute conducted a public debate on the Polish Qualifications Framework and on the premises for a future, integrated qualifications system. As of 2014, meetings with social partners are occurring either in sectoral groups – as part of the work on the standards of describing qualifications and sectoral qualifications frameworks, or in groups being consulted on the quality assurance of the integrated qualifications system. An important issue being discussed with our social partners is their role in the integrated qualifications system, because without their involvement, the system will not come to life, be flexible or practical.
You are cordially invited by IBE to discuss this issue and to learn about the related experiences of other countries at a conference on February 16, 2016 at the Marriott Hotel in Warsaw. A report will be prepared based on the panel discussions of this event, which will be the subject of on-line consultations and a product of our project. Experts from France will participate in the conference, and we will provide translations of their presentations and discussions.
