Education of the future – qualifications for everyone
You are cordially invited to attend a Conference „Education of the future – qualifications for everyone” summarising the second stage of work on qualifications frameworks in Poland. In 2013, the Government of Poland presented the European Commission with Poland’s Referencing Report, prepared by the Educational Research Institute. The solutions described in the report were the basis for developing the proposed law on the Integrated Qualifications System, which was accepted on March 31, 2015 by the Council of Ministers.
From the start, work on the Integrated Qualifications System was accompanied by public debates, enabling the extensive involvement of such stakeholders as representatives of ministries, trade unions, employer associations, business sector groups, non-governmental organisations, training firms, higher education institutions, local government and qualifications framework experts.
The Conference will be an opportunity to summarise the work accomplished by “The development of terms of reference for the implementation of the National Qualifications Framework and the National Qualifications Register for lifelong learning” Project and stakeholders, as well as to present the main elements of the Integrated Qualifications System.
During the conference, participants will be able to:
- hear about the stages of work in developing the Polish Qualifications Framework,
- learn about the new possibilities for the labour market provided by a systematised qualifications structure,
- discuss the challenges facing the Integrated Qualifications System.
The conference will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Radisson Blu Sobieski Hotel in Warsaw at Plac Zawiszy 1.
