Completion of work on the Polish referencing report
“The Polish Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning from the European perspective”, an international conference, will take place on 3 July 2013. The event will mark the completion of work on the Polish referencing report – relating the Polish Qualifications Framework to the European Qualifications Framework. The document has been adopted by the Polish cabinet’s European Affairs Committee and at international level. Conference delegates will include officials from the government departments and institutions which worked on implementation of the qualifications framework in Poland, including the Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Ministry of Regional Development and Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, members of the Steering Committee for the National Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning, the National Team of Bologna Experts, the Central Examinations Committee and participants in the public debate on the Polish Qualifications Framework: education and labour market institutions, representatives of employers, trade unions and industry organisations. International experts who have supported the referencing process in Poland have also been invited, including officials from education ministries in France, Austria and Germany, the World Bank, the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (CEDEFOP) and the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework Partnership.
