Goals:
Presentation the diversity of the meaning of “quality” for higher education in Europe
Developing a common approach to quality assurance in higher education in Poland
Questions:
- To what extent should we be concentrating on Quality Enhancement as well as Quality Assurance? What difference does this make?
- What is involved in developing and establishing a Quality Culture in an institution?
- What programmes of professional development (institutional? national?) need to be in place to develop a quality culture?
- In what ways can the priorities and agendas of individual institutions (ie at the meso/intermediate level of the quality system) advance or inhibit quality?
