Study visit in IBE
Between May 13-16, 2014, IBE is hosting a group of representatives from Ireland, Great Britain, Germany, Holland, Austria, Croatia and Italy. The main aim of the study visit is to present our achievements and share experience connected with national qualifications system, especially in the field of informal education. The visit is organized by CEDEFOP.
Public consultations on European Professional Card
Between 7 April and 2 June, 2014 the European Commission conducts a public consultation on introducing the European Professional Card (EPC) for nurses, doctors, pharmacists, physiotherapists, engineers, mountain guides & real estate agents. For more information click here.

Polish Referencing Report is now availabe in English on our website. The report references the proposed Polish Qualifications Framework (PQF) to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). It also presents the course and progress of work on other projects undertaken to modernise the national qualifications system in Poland. It shows that Poland meets the ten referencing criteria defined by the EQF Advisory Group.New NQF animations

Public consultation on a “European Area of Skills and Qualifications” is being organized by the European Commission. Until 15 April, 2014 all stakeholders and individuals are welcome to contribute to this consultation by filling in an electronic questionnaire. The third stage of the project
The Educational Reasearch Institute has just completed the second stage of the project entilted “The development of terms of reference for the implementation of the National Qualifications Framework and the National Qualifications Register for lifelong learning”.The project is prolonged until 30 June, 2015 and it will be accompanied by two suplementary projects entitled: „Developing the national qualifications system - preparing to implement the Integrated Qualifications Register for lifelong learning” and „Developing the national qualifications system – pilot implementation of national qualifications system and its promotional campaign”.
Guests from Croatia
Between December 16-18, 2013, IBE hosted a group of educational representatives from Croatia during their study visit in Poland. The first day of the visit was devoted to the Polish Qualifications Framework (PQF). IBE experts on the subject presented a history of educational changes in Polish education, the idea of introducing the PQF and its role in the educational system. NQS Library

It is a unique collection of nearly 500 international publications on the European Qualifications Framework, as well as national publications on the project carried out by the Educational Research Institute. The Library’s collection is continually growing with the addition of documents acquired during study visits, as well as those being prepared as part of the project.
