Sectoral Qualifications Frameworks Conference 23-24 April 2015
A conference on “Qualifications for the labour market. Sectoral Qualifications Frameworks as new tools for competence management” will take place on 23-24 April 2015 in Warsaw. Its objective is to exchange views and experiences in developing and implementing tools used to match qualifications to labour market needs. The context of the conference is provided by sectoral qualifications frameworks created for various sectors in countries around the world. Sectoral qualifications frameworks are to contribute to developing more adequate education programmes for the job market, which should increase the transparency and comparability of employees’ qualifications.
During the conference, we will take a closer look at the following issues:
- sectoral qualifications frameworks: development process, problems and challenges
- sectoral qualifications frameworks as a source of inspiration for non-formal education
- sectoral qualifications: the role of stakeholders (the role of trade organisations)
- changes in the work process and qualifications management in industry
