Education of the future – qualifications for everyone
You are cordially invited to attend a Conference „Education of the future – qualifications for everyone” summarising the second stage of work on qualifications frameworks in Poland. In 2013, the Government of Poland presented the European Commission with Poland’s Referencing Report, prepared by the Educational Research Institute. The solutions described in the report were the basis for developing the proposed law on the Integrated Qualifications System, which was accepted on March 31, 2015 by the Council of Ministers.
Sectoral Qualifications Frameworks Conference 23-24 April 2015
A conference on “Qualifications for the labour market. Sectoral Qualifications Frameworks as new tools for competence management” will take place on 23-24 April 2015 in Warsaw. Its objective is to exchange views and experiences in developing and implementing tools used to match qualifications to labour market needs.
EU experts on qualifications
"Peer Learning Activity (PLA)" seminar organised within the framework of the Advisory Group for European Qualifications Framework (EQF), was held in Warsaw on 16-17 March 2015. The two-day meeting was attended by the representatives of the Advisory Group for European Qualifications Framework, members of the PLA discussion group, Polish experts and representatives of institutions working on qualifications frameworks as well as experts of the Educational Research Institute (IBE, Warsaw).

The „Peer Learning Activity”, a discussion seminar of the EQF Advisory Group, will be held from 16 until 17 March 2015 in Warsaw. Participants of the event include representatives-members of the European Qualifications Framework Advisory Group, foreign experts contributing to the PLA and representatives of the Educational Research Institute.

150 people came from all over Poland to Warsaw on January 13, 2015 to discuss how to effectively develop vocational qualifications in the regions, support young people in choosing their future educational paths and promote lifelong learning. Presentation of the Polish Referencing Report
On July 3, 2013, the Educational Research Institute held an international conference in Warsaw, entitled "The Polish Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning from the European perspective". During this event, the Polish Referencing Report was presented, which references the Polish Qualifications Framework to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). Conference guests included representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, foreign experts from Hungary, Austria, Germany and Scotland who reviewed the Report, as well as a representative of the European Commission’s EQF Advisory Group and the head of CEDEFOP (European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training).
Conference on transfer of learning achievements
You are invited to “Transferring learning achievements in Poland and Europe”, a conference to be held on 25 June 2013, at which experts from the Educational Research Institute will present topics including determinants for introduction of the ECVET system in Poland. The speaker will be Peter Wilson, a specialist from NIACE (the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education) in the UK.International conference on qualifications systems
Education based on learning outcomes, transparent principles for the award of diplomas and certificates, the possibility to gain qualifications outside of formal education, and better adaptation of employee competences to labour market requirements – experts from 15 countries discussed the benefits of implementing qualifications frameworks at the international conference “Qualifications Frameworks as an Instrument of Public Policy for Lifelong Learning”. The event took place on 8-9 November 2012 in Warsaw.
